課程概述 |
This graduate course aims to give an introduction to the technique of cryo-EM, with emphasis on the underlying physical principles and the use of RELION for 3D reconstruction of protein structure. |
|
課程目標 |
The following topics will be covered:
1. Diffraction principles;
2. Image formation in transmission electron microscopy;
3. Procedure in cryo-EM experiments;
4. Principles of 3D reconstruction;
5. RELION calculations. |
|
課程要求 |
For practical calculations of RELION, priority will be given to those students who need cryo-EM for their research projects.
Some basic knowledge of calculus and linear algebra are required; hands-on experience in TEM is helpful. |
