課程概述 |
This course will discuss some selected topics from the classical soft matter systems: polymers, colloidal suspensions, surfactants, and liquid crystals. The focus is to build some simple and universal understanding about some macroscopic material properties from the microscopic bases. Several basic tools from statistical mechanics will be covered and applied to these soft matter systems as examples. |
