課程概述 |
本課程為大學部大三大四及研究所課程，主要介紹花粉學的理論基礎、方法與相關運用，內容將偏重於古代植被、氣候與環境重建目的之部份，包括樣品前處理、花粉形態特徵的辨識原則、資料呈現與判讀、古植被和古氣候的重建與量化、台灣相關研究及未來發展的應用等。 |

課程目標 |
本課程將提供有意從事古代氣候與環境重建研究的學生一個不同的研究手段，除了讓學生熟悉花粉學的方法與知識，更在於瞭解花粉研究的貢獻與價值。 |
|
課程要求 |
除課堂教學外，本課程亦包括實驗部分(分組進行連續8小時的花粉實驗及3小時的顯微鏡觀察)，實驗地點在中研院史語所花粉實驗室，此外每名學生亦須閱讀指定文獻一篇並上台報告。 |
