課程概述 |
THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS COURSE IS TO PROVIDE AN OVERVIEW FOR UNDERGRADUATES AND GRADUATES INTERESTED IN HOW MICORORGANISMS INTERACT WITH GEOLOGICAL MATERIALS AND SHAPE THE CHEMISTRY OF GEOSPHERE, ATMOSPHERE AND HYDROSPHERE. THIS COURSE WILL COMBINE LECTURE, FIELD WORK, AND LAB PRACTICE TO PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS BOTH KNOWLEDGE AND HAND-ON EXPERIENCE ON VARIOUS ASPECTS OF GEOMICROBIOLOGY. COVERAGE OF THE COURSE INCLUDES:

REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATION:
PARTICIPATION OF FIELD WORK, AND ALL CLASSES AND LAB WORKS IS REQUIRED. DUE TO THE LIMTED BENCH CAPACITY, ONLY FOUR TO SIX SUTDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE COURSE.
GRADING:
PARTICIPATION AND FIELD WORK 40%, QUIZ AND HOMEWORK 40%, AND PRESENTATION 20%. |
