課程概述 |
Major advances in our understanding of the history of life on Earth have resulted from the study of exceptionally well-preserved fossil sites. Study of such sites from around the world and from different periods in geologic time can provide good examples of some ancient ecosystems in the past. |

課程目標 |
This course is designed to introduce the best examples of exceptionally preserved fossils in the fossil record. Students will be exposed to various famous fossil deposits worldwide and be engaged in classroom discussions on the history of discovery, scientific values and specific environmental factors required for preserving each fossil deposit. |
