課程概述 |
Topical seminar of Persuasive Technology (PSY5301) is an elective course for senior and graduate students of psychology majors. Persuasive technology is an interdisciplinary field that draws on theories and methods of psychology, human behavior studies, communication and human-computer interaction to inform the design of persuasive experiences delivered through interactive and computational technologies. This course will first study the theory, research and practices of captology, and then explore the design and use of digital technologies for the purpose of influencing individuals’ attitudes or behaviors in a number of contexts (i.e., health, social life and marketing, etc.). A semester-long design project will be adopted to guide and anchor participants’ learning activities and outcomes within the course. |
