課程概述 |
One of the most powerful and commonly used techniques to investigate the impacts of climate change on earth is remote sensing. The trend of the research has changed rapidly in the recent decades. In order to gain the latest knowledge of remote sensing of the environment and to understand the pros and cons of the technology, it is pivotal to keep up-to-date literature. In this 1h per week course, the instructor will provide a series of most recent remote sensing studies in terrestrial environments. Since the topics of remote sensing of the environment are broad and the time is limited, there will be two concentrations of the course: image fusion and BRDF modeling. In each lecture, one paper is assigned and a student is appointed to lead the discussion. Other students are expected to read the paper and to participate in the class. At the end of the class, students will be asked to propose a method to integrate these two sub-fields. |
