課程概述 |
This course offers a balanced, stimulating survey of marine ecology, introducing the key processes and systems from which the marine environment is formed, and the issues and challenges which surround its future conservation. In addition, an introduction of recent applications of molecular approaches in marine ecology will be included. |
課程目標 |
Students are expected to develop a broad understanding on various issues of marine ecology, be able to generate an in-depth review on a selected topic and give a presentation. |
課程要求 |
One presentation (1 hour including discussion) based on in-depth review of a topic is required. Students are encouraged to participate in discussion on both lectures and presentations. One final written exam in the end of the semester is also required. |
