課程概述

This course offers a balanced, stimulating survey of marine ecology, introducing the key processes and systems from which the marine environment is formed, and the issues and challenges which surround its future conservation. 

課程目標
Students are expected to develop a broad understanding on various issues of marine ecology, be able to generate an in-depth review on a selected topic and give a presentation. 
課程要求
Final presentation (<40 minutes) + discussion (10 minutes) based on a scientific paper is required. The presentation topic and paper is due one week before the presentation. The topics should be timely and include information from current SCIENTIFIC literature related to the marine ecology. Students are encouraged to participate in discussion on both lectures and presentations.

No mid-term or final exams is required.
