This course is designed to enable students to understand the impacts of climate change on the human environment and to seek adaptation solutions from the process of understanding these impacts. This course will take DPSIR as the curriculum architecture concept to enable students to learn how to impact climate change on the human environment, into D (Driving forces), P (Pressure), S(State), I (Impacts) and R (Response) architecture, for different spatial units, through cross-domain integration of data actual collection and analysis, to explore climate change and human settlements issues.
In the course of curriculum implementation, from topic selection, team composition, data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation, students adopt independent learning methods, so that students can establish an independent way of learning, and try to cross-domain communication and integration of discussions, to lay down the ability of students to integrate across the field. In terms of topic thinking, it will also be integrated into the concept of Living Laboratory, so that students can flip teaching at the level of thinking, in line with the trend of practical application orientation. |
