課程概述 |
這門為政論組進階學程設計的必修課，目的是在引導同學藉由閱讀有關「政治發展與民主化」的相關學說與經驗研究來思考什麼是對開發中國家人民來說理想的政治生活。 課程設計將包括閱讀與實作，除了對相關文獻的了解，特別希望同學經由分組的實際操作可以獲得初步研究的樂趣與能力。

課程目標 |
這學期，我們將分成宏觀與微觀兩個層次進行：一、在宏觀層次，我們將在全球層次關照民主化的相關理論，探討民主化的成因，並討論各區域所面臨的特殊問題；二、在微觀層次，我們將請同學就台灣民主化的經驗， 把民主看成自變項（independent variable)來談民主化是否讓我們這個社會更平等，如對性別、城鄉、階級、師生等關係的影響。
我們將把全班同學分為八組，分別在這兩個層次來進行分組研究與報告。

（3）分組報告（2）─民主化是否讓台灣的一些社會關係更平等？（60％）
