The goal of this course is to familiarize students with the tools of macroeconomics. We will focus on short-run fluctuations, and examine the pros and cons of various policies that a government can use to smooth short-run fluctuations in this semester.

As part of the effort of the university to promote the use of foreign language in instruction, this course will be taught entirely in English. Students are required to use English in all classroom activities, including exams.
