課程概述 |
Statistics and Introductory Econometrics are designed for Econ major students to fulfill the departmental quantitative analysis requirements, and ECON 2023 Introductory Econometrics is the second half of this sequence.

課程目標 |
In Introductory Econometrics in Spring 2020, we will concentrate on elementary regression analysis. Its objective is to provide students with basic statistical tools and concepts that will help them estimate economic models and do subsequent inference. The prerequisite for Introductory Econometrics is ECON 2022 Statistics. In Introductory Econometrics, the multiple regression models will be discussed in details. Also, the basic time series analysis, panel data model and instrumental variables estimation will be covered. |
