課程概述 |
The course is intended to help students get familiarized with English writing conventions. The course starts with the paragraph structure, then moves on to the essay structure, and concludes with the five common rhetoric modes in English academic writing. There will also be a one-hour grammar session every week. |
課程目標 |
At the end of this course, students are expected to have a better understanding of
grammar & vocabulary;
sentential structures & strategies;
paragraph structure & strategies;
discoursal structure & strategies;
style and register;
pre-writing preparations and post-writing editing skills.
