課程概述 |
Environmental economics is a relatively new, but now well established branch of economics. By successfully applying standard microeconomic analysis to the natural environment, economists have challenged many erroneous preconceptions of policy makers. This course aims to provide students with a sound knowledge and understanding of the major results of environmental economics. While our major goal is to utilize rigorous microeconomic frameworks for analyzing environmental issues, we will focus on the following topics this semester: policy instruments and their enforcement, uncertainty, and asymmetric information. |
