課程概述	課程簡介　　二十世紀後半頁，諸多思想家從各個面向不約而同地主張：行動不完全為客體化的社會結構控制，個體行動非社會行動的基本構成單位，進而想要化解甚至超越結構?行動的二律背反。從結構?能動 (structure/agency) 的詮釋框架來看，繼行動 (action) 、能動 (agency) 之後，這個社會學理論的新發展可以稱之為實作轉向 (practice turn) 。作為圍繞著共同實作領域的社會，實作被認作是具體化、以物質為中介的種種人類行動的系列。然而，關鍵的是實作者具有的反思能力 (reflection) ，並且進行研究的研究者也具有反思能力，更重要的是，我們如何看待研究的實作過程以及研究成果：在研究者自身的社會條件影響下，研究者絕不可能自外於甚至超越於他的研究之上。他的研究必然要返回自身，他的研究成果必然帶有反身性 (reflexivity) 的特徵，亦即我們必須清楚 opus operarum（操作成果）與 modus operandi （操作模式）之間的區別。　　因此，可以說當代社會學奠基在「秩序如何可能」以及「秩序的自我持存(self-perpetuating)如何可能」這兩個問題上。區分的根源在於：認知能力為主軸的反思性以及身體習氣為關鍵的反身性，這兩者的優先性或根本性的堅持。這種分野同時也為意識與無意識、主體與他者、認識論與倫理學之間的問題與爭議提供相當精彩的討論以及更為深刻的反省。或許，我們可以說：反身性社會學不只是「社會學的社會學」(Boudieu語)，更是第一社會學(first sociology)。
課程目標	課程首先返回古典社會學理論的原典，通過Marx, Durkheim, Weber & Simmel等思想家，認識早期社會學對反身性議題的原初構想。接著，我們藉著當代學者Luhmann, Beck, Bourdieu & Archer 等不同的思考面向，進一步掌握反身性社會學的基本進路。其中，特別著重從社會學的社會學Bourdieu對學院謬誤的批判，以及從批判實在論切入Archer賦予反身性概念的新意涵。在釐清反身性的若干基本概念後，我們將進入本學期最倚重的理論家：Foucault。以他1975-76, 1977-78,1978-79的演講為文本，深入Foucault對權力(power)、治理性(governmentality)、生命政治(biopolitics)的重要解讀；在這個基礎上，我們重新反思新自由主義其帶來的種種後果。以Foucault總結之前的討論，並試著從反身性社會學的立場，重新扣連到我們今天的社會狀況(social condition)。由於值得討論的問題不少，課程中我們只能選擇若干重要思想家，藉由原典的分析與課堂內外的討論，期待對同學對反身性社會學有更深刻的瞭解。
課程要求	課程進行　　修課同學請到「CEIBA教學網站」。本學期所有文件傳遞、消息通知與作業繳交等，請全部 po 到版上，並自行備份。相關網路問題，請洽任課教師。　　 1. 每週作業：依據讀本內容，每週有相關問題請同學回答，提問會 po 在版上，回答也請回到版上。內容請直接徵引文本，或註明出處。每週作業請於上課前48小時po版，切勿遲交。無故遲交兩次者視同一次未交，兩次未繳交作業者視同無故報告缺席。本學期每週問題中，有一題必須處理是一樣的：(1) 文本的對話對象；(2) 文本影響了那些學者、著作、思潮或學門等。　　 2. 課堂報告：(1) 修課同學必須平均分擔報告與評論。(2) 課堂上，每週作業由一位同學報告並由一位同學評論所有同學的回覆。負責報告及評論的同學除不可抗力之原因外，不得缺席；無故報告缺席者，學期成績以不及格計。課堂報告亦請於上課前24小時po版，切勿遲交。　　 3. 期末報告：題目自訂，但以課程範圍為限。內容除本文外必須包含三個部分，即：術語彙編、文獻回顧與參考書目。(a) 術語彙編即期末報告中主要討論概念及其定義；(b) 文獻回顧即期末報告主要對話對像之反省與批判；(c) 參考書目即儘可能羅列所有相關文獻，並需區分為：必讀書目與延伸閱讀。期末報告最後繳交期限：2016.1.15。　　評分方式：期末報告佔40%，每週作業佔40%，課堂參與佔20%。
