Course Description

1. This course is EMI ( English as a Medium of Instruction) course.
2. This course is designed to collaborate with a similar course at Thammasat University, Social Policy and Development, Thailand. Both courses will share similar syllabus.
3. Students at NTU and students at Thammasat will form work groups together and complete a business plan proposal as the end outcome of the course. 

Course Objective
1. To introduce the knowledge on social enterprise and innovation.
2. To train students' capability to design a business plan.
3. To facilitate students to work with international teammates. 
Course Requirement
1. Participate in class actively.
2. Be friendly to local and international teammates and finish the group assignments.
3. Pay a visit to 2024 Taipei International Care Expo between September 12-14, and write a report.
4. Reports and presentations are in English.

Explanations for the conditions

1. Show up in class and participate actively. 2. Work together with local and international teammates in group discussions.

1. Each group will be composed of local as well as Thai students. 2. Groups should find a way to work out schedules for discussions and finish a group report. 3. An oral presentation will be given in class on 11/20 or 11/27.

1. Each group will hand in a written final report. 2. Each group will get a group grade. 3. Each member of the group will be graded with the group grade adjusted by individual participation evaluation.

Care Expo report

1. Each student should pay a visit to the 2024 Taipei Care Expo from September 12 to 14. 2. After the visit, each student should write a report with photos and upload the report online.
