Course Description

一、醫學系學生於基礎課程修畢進入臨床醫學領域之初，對其作急診醫學之簡介，使之對急診醫學有初步之認識。
二、熟習急診醫學必備的基本概念、知識與技能等。
三、經由對急診醫學架構的初步認識，以及授予之基本知識、技能等，激發學生對急診醫學的興趣，以為進一步選修甚或未來投入急診醫療之基礎。 

Course Objective
 一、瞭解目前臺灣急診專科醫師的養成制度，與急診醫學的服務研究範圍。
二、瞭解臺大醫院急診醫學部的環境與實際運作。
三、了解院前救護系統(EMS)的運作，救護車的配備與功能，以及體外自動去顫器的操作。
四、認識成人及兒童基礎救命術、創傷急症、中毒急症的初步處理原則。
五、了解急診常用的侵襲及非侵襲性技能，尤其著重於呼吸道的處理。 
Course Requirement
 一、本校醫學系五年級醫學生。
二、外校醫學系六年級醫學生，選修本院實習課程，依”台大醫院接受見習實習要點”申請，經教學部審核及醫務會議通過者。
三、每一小組每週有三天的時間於急診醫學科實習。
