Course Description |
Laboratory practice of periodontology
I. General outline of the course:
To study:
A. Basic clinical diagnosis method of periodontal disease.
B. Determination of the prognosis, treatment plan and rationale of periodontal treatment.
C. The method of usage and sharpening of periodontal instruments.
D. Manipulation of phase I therapy.
II. Aim of the course:
1. Accurate recording of periodontal clinical parameters of each tooth.
2. How to effectively prevent the occurrence and/or recurrence of periodontal disease.
3. How to remove dental calculus from individual tooth.
4. Learning how to use periodontal instruments.
