The experimental emphasis of Pharmaceutics Laboratory I encompass measurements of several physicochemical properties involved in the preparations of pharmaceutical liquid dosage forms, including viscosity, adsorption, surface tension, and osmoticity. Preparation of liquid dosage forms, including solutions, elixir, tincture, and some disperse systems such as liniments, and suppositories etc. are also included.
