The course 'Hematology and clinical hematology', togather with the "Experimental Hematology", are offered to the third year students of our department and is arranged every Monday and Frifay afternoon from 1 to 6pm. This course consists of basic hematology anf clinical hematology. Normal physiological function of red cells (hematopoiesis, hemoglobin, metabolism, nutrition, membrane, oxygen carrier and carbon dioxide carrier), white cells (lymphocyte, neutrophil, monocyte, basophil, eosinophil), platelets and coagulation (coagulation factors, coagulation, and fibrinolysis) will be introduced. The clinical hematology branch will cover the common blood diseses, illustrating their pathological mechnism, clinical features as well as the related laboratory diagnositics. Differnt kinds of anemias, chronic leukemias, acute leukemias, mature lymphoid malignancies, platelet dydfunction, and coagulopathies will be dicussed。
