課程概述

本課程乃由人類生命發展過程之觀點，介紹兒童時期的健康議題、常見疾病，以及疾病與住院對兒童及家庭的影響，以及慢性病童的後續照顧。以協助學生發展護理兒童之基本知識與技能，並瞭解其家庭面對孩童健康問題所引發之調適過程。 

課程目標
 本課程之安排，使學生能夠：
1.認識兒童時期的健康需求；
2.認識兒童時期常見疾病的基本生理、病理變化及治療方式；
3.認識護理兒童之倫理考量；
4.發展與兒童溝通的技巧；
5.發展照顧兒童健康問題的基本技能；
6.發展與其他醫療專業人員共同提供兒童健康照顧的能力；
7.了解住院及疾病對兒童及家庭的影響；
8.體認兒科護理人員的專業角色及弁遄C
 
課程要求
 學生必須修完各科基礎醫學課程與實習、護理學導論、人類發展學及基本護理學課程與實習。
