課程概述 |
From the perspective of human life span, this course introduces health issues regarding childhood common diseases and the impacts of diseases and hospitalization on children and their families. The course helps students to develop basic knowledge and nursing skills to care children. In addition, students will learn the adaptation process of families with children who have special needs. |
課程目標 |
The aims of this course are to enable students to:
1. understand health needs of different ages of children
2. develop appropriate skills to communicate with children
3. know physiology, pathology, and treatment of common childhood diseases
4. understand the influence of disease and hospitalization on children and their families
5. develop basic health care skills to take care of children with health problems
6. recognize professional role and function of being a pediatric nurse
7. develop communication abilities to cooperate with other disciplines in order to provide health care to children |
