課程概述

In conjunction with the content of “ OT for Physical Disabilities”, “Therapeutic Skills & Practice”, “OT for Pediatrics” and “Psychiatry (B)”, students are given opportunity to observe clinical pictures of patients with different diagnosis, and administer professional evaluation procedures used in different situation, get acquainted with the clinical settings, modalities and evaluation procedures. All the students of the class will be divided into three groups and rotate through clinics for physical disabilities, for psychiatric population and for developmental disabilities and sensory-integrative dysfunction. 

課程目標
After the course finished, the students will be able to
1) establish therapeutic alliance with the clients.
2) define the diagnoses of the patients in each field of practice and the effect of these diagnosis on occupational performance.
3) choose standardized/non-standardized screening or evaluation tools according to client’s needs, contextual factors and psychometric properties of the tests to evaluate the client’s occupational needs.
4) follow safety and standardized procedures to administer evaluation commonly used in each field of practice based on specific frames of reference, including interview, observation, non-standardized or standardized tests.
5) explain the results of the assessment based on proper theories or frames of reference in each field of practice.
6) understand the factors causing measurement errors. 
課程要求
注意事項:
1. 在生理疾病成人領域實習時,A組同學實習的時間是每週一上午9-12點,實習指導老師是黃小玲老師。B組同學實習的時間是每週一下午2-5點,實習指導老師是薛漪平老師。實習地點皆為台大醫院(西址)復健部三樓職能治療室。

2. 在小兒領域實習時,A組同學實習的時間是每週一上午9-12點,實習指導老師是陳顥齡老師。B組同學實習的時間是每週一下午2-5點,實習指導老師是王湉妮老師。實習地點皆為台大兒童醫院的職能治療室。

3. 在心理疾病領域實習時,不論A、B組,實習時間皆為每週一下午1:50-5點,實習指導老師是吳益芳老師,實習地點皆為台大醫院(西址)精神部之職能治療室三樓及四樓。

4. 服裝儀容規定(與大四臨床實習規定相同)
(1) 服裝儀容乾淨清潔,並符合醫療專業形象。
(2) 依規定穿著治療服及配戴識別證。
(3) 治療服應定期換洗,領子、袖口保持清潔且無污垢。
(4) 上衣以治療服為限,不得另加外套,裙、褲長度至少及膝,不得穿奇裝異服。
(5) 頭髮保持整潔,髮型符合醫療專業形象。長髮者須將頭髮挽起或妥善整理,避免違反無菌原則、碰觸病人或醫療環境。
(6) 鬍鬚保持整潔,並修整合宜,長度以不影響配戴高效率口罩密合度為原則。
(7) 指甲長度小於0.5公分且不超過手指尖端,並保持清潔。不塗指甲油或配戴人工指甲、美甲貼片等。
(8) 鞋子樣式,請著包鞋並符合工作需求,保持清潔,且應盡量降低走動時產生音量(如高跟鞋)。
(9) 避免穿著特殊單位工作服至與醫療無關之公共場所。
(10) 穿著不得暴露,例如領口不得太低、露肚臍或內衣褲。飾物以不妨礙工作為限。
