課程概述 |
Introduction to administrative and managerial issues related to the profession including supervision styles and structures of management, directing and controlling subordinates program planning methods, financial management, marketing the service, evaluating the quality of service, communication line and the legal and regulatory influence in OT practice. |
|
課程目標 |
After the course finished the students will be able to
1) Describe the procedures for planning of an OT clinic.
2) Understand the legal and regulatory influence on OT practice
3) Explain the meaning of supervision and its components.
4) Identify various management styles and organizational behaviors.
5) Identify the elements of quality assurance and communication in an organization. |

課程要求 |
1) Program proposal (40%): To design an OT department or establish an OT program, including the space, personnel, equipment, treatment programs, budgeting, and marketing strategies… (分成四組，各選定生理、心理、兒童、社區領域，可安排與實務老師討論)
2) Final exam (40%): written exam, will include multiple choice, and short answers.
3) Course participation (20%) |
