Course Description

Techniques for carrying out the planning and treatment are practiced in laboratory in the beginning of the first year (summer course), which include taking orthodontic records, tracing and identification of landmarks, soft tissue evaluation, arch wire bending exercises (first, second and third orders of wire bending, omega loop, bull loop, shoehorn loop, MEAW loop, sliding jig, v bend), welding and soldering exercises, indirect boding, bracket position, fabrication and management of the activator, bionator, twin block, ACCO, Hawley retainer, lower lingual arch, transpalatal arch, quahelix, T-loop attraction spring , and Burstone intrusion arch.
