Course Description

Students participate in the treatment of patients starting out with developing skills in presenting a case, evaluating etiology, diagnosis, treatment planning, and prognosis. As a branch of hospital based dentistry, our training program has a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary treatments. The students have ample opportunities to work closely with oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, pediatric dentists, oral radiologists, prosthodontists, and TMD specialists and to consult with other dental and medical specialists, for example, plastic surgeon, in the hospital.
