Course Description

This course is the seminar about the development and related researches of dental materials including composites, materials for inlay/onlay restorations, dentin bonding agents, 3D ceramics, bleaching agents, dental laser and dental implants. Postgraduate students can have deep understanding of the development and test of dental materials and have right concept about research methods and experimental design. Students should involve the research topic about these dental materials and propose report and discussion 

Course Objective
The purpose of this course is to guide students have good interactions with patients and have correct posture for dental treatment, understanding the diagnosis and treatment principle about dental caries and oral diseases, and the properties and applications of dental materials. Students should have knowledge and complete the cases of dental amalgam restorations and resin composites and have knowledge about the treatment principle of esthetic dentistry and the methods for communication with patients. 
Course Requirement
Students should complete high quality treatment and case reports of dental amalgam restorations and resin composite restorations and book reading Students should involve the research about composites, inlay/onlay restorations, dentin bonding agents, 3D ceramics, bleaching agents, dental laser, dental implants and related research and propose report and discussion.
