課程概述 |
This is a two-unit introductory cell biology course offered to graduate or upper division undergraduate students who have taken Biochemistry and Molecular Biology courses. The class will meet on Wednesdays, 4:30pm-6:20pm. The lectures will cover basic topics in cell biology. Research approaches incorporating modern cellular biology techniques will also be discussed. |

課程目標 |
The course will be divided into five modules, each covers key concepts in cell biology. The goal of the course is to provide comprehensive overview among various topics in this fast evolving field of study, equipping students with proper ability for future research. |

課程要求 |
There will be home works each week, three reading assignments through the course, and a final paper at the end of the semester. Students are expected to participate in in-class discussion for specific topics. |
