課程概述	This course aims to enable students to present and appreciate recent advances and new vistas on chosen neuroscience research topics, such as memory, chronic pain, negative emotions and so forth, mainly focusing on underlying circuitry mechanisms of specific brain function.
課程目標	The primary goal of the course is to learn from outstanding researches from top research journals and think about what a good research is composed of and how to advance one’s research to the similar level.
課程要求	Preparation and participation: Given it is an advanced course, students taking this course will have to obtain instructor’s approval to take this course. In addition, every student needs to have an ongoing research project related to neural circuits and brain function. Student must do assigned literature reading each week; to present assigned literature; and take an active part in classroom discussions.
