課程概述 |
Working individually and in groups, students develop design proposals for a campus site, with guidance from instructors and practitioners. |
課程目標 |
Develop design thinking, spatial sense, sensitivity to context and people.
Practice the new skills learned in concurrent survey and graphics course.
Learn to use drawing, on paper and on screen, to visualize an existing situation, its past, and its design-impacted future.
Learn to provide and respond to constructive criticism from peers and instructors.

課程要求 |
Proposed organization and content changes with respect to previous years
1)Linkage with Futures Thinking sessions via content and tasks.
2)Design medium adopted for the studio sessions: On paper hand drawing (both artistic sketching and engineering drawing). No physical scale model. No computer screen.
3)Each design instructor tutors the same class over the entire semester, and coordinates with survey and engineering graphics instructors teaching the same group of students.
Grading
1.Homework , 40%(Team task /Individual task)
2.Attend Rate, 10%
3.Final Presentation, 30%(Poster/Oral Presentation)
4.Field Visit, 10%
5.Peer Assessment ,10%
