Course description: This course is designed as an introductory course in control system for undergraduate engineering students. It adapts a traditional approach and focuses in design and analysis of control systems in both time and frequency domains. Materials include mathematical preliminaries and modeling, characteristics and performance of control systems, and various skills in design of feedback control systems.

Course objective: (1) Training students to have knowledge and skills necessary for control system designers; (2) Serving as a foundation of other advanced control courses.

Students are expected to spend 4-6 hours per week to study the materials.
