課程概述

Mathematical modeling of structures; numerical techniques for computing modal properties; numerical integration for computing transient response; complex frequency response for single- and multiple-degree-of-freedom systems; a brief introduction to earthquake engineering; use of finite elements in structural dynamics analysis. 

課程目標
The objective of this class is to teach students how to construct a structural model for dynamic analysis, to analyze a structure subjected to dynamic loading, and to analyze a structure in both time and frequency domains.
