課程概述

This course discusses the fundamentals and applications of engineering information management through lectures, in-class group discussions, homework assignments, and projects. The topics discussed include:

  • Introduction to Database Management
  • Management Information Systems in a Networked Digital Enterprise
  • Engineering Project Information Management
  • BIM: New Tools & New Processes
  • Construction Product & Process Information Modeling & Management
  • Engineering Information Lifecycle Management
  • Engineering Information Sharing and Standardization
  • Visualization of Engineering Information
  • Engineering Knowledge Management
