課程概述 |
This course intends to introduce the interrelations among the dynamics of the physical processes pertaining to aquatic ecosystems and the modifications observed in their habitat as well as the biological responses of the organisms. |
課程目標 |
The scope of ecology and the concept of eco-hydrology and eco-hydraulics will be taught at the beginning. Several conceptual models and mathematical models that are broadly used will be introduced. They are species distribution model, habitat suitability model, and landscape ecology metrics. Some case studies of river and wetland restoration, rehabilitation and creation will be incorporated into the course and will be discussed during the second half of the course. |
課程要求 |
Students will be requested to team their group for oral presentation and paper reports in the second half of the course following the related literature and case studies assigned by teacher. |
