課程概述

The development of manufacturing, information and transportation technologies have dramatically changed the manufacturing landscape in the world. To be competitive, firms must integrate technologies with market knowledge through supply-demand chain management. This course is aimed at providing foundamental knowledge in suppy-demand chain at the upper undergraduate and introductory graduate level for engineering students.  

課程目標
 The objective of this course is to develop basic knowledge in the management of supply chain systems in the global production era.

Students who take this course should have knowledge on machine shop,and manufacturing processes as covered in 工廠實習 and 機械製造. Students should also have basic understanding of probability.
 
課程要求
 This course inclue lectures, homework assignment, group term paper report and presentation.
