課程概述

This course includes three parts:
Ch 1 (week 1-6): Detailed discussion on energy balance and entropy balance.
Ch 2 (week 7-12): Phase equilibrium and virial equation of state
Ch 3 (Week 13-17): Introduction to statistical thermodynamics

1. Deep understanding of macroscopic energy balance and entropy balance.
2. Learning state of the art of phase equilibrium and their applications to chemical industry.
3. Understanding the basic concepts in statistical thermodynamics.
