including the following topics
1. Structure of Ceramics
2. Defects in Ceramics
3. Mass and Electrical Transport
4. Phase Equilibrium
5. Microstructure and Mechanical Properties 

課程目標
 1. Familiar with atomic, crystalline and glass structure of ceramics
2. Understand the type and reactions of defects in ceramics
3. Knowing mass and electrical transports in Ceramic Materials
4. Learn the mechanical properties of ceramics at room and high temperatures
5. Familiar with Phase diagram and equilibria at room and high temperature
6. Understand the origin and fundamental of ceramic microstructure

mid-term exam (60%);
