內容:
1、 Introduction:water quality、criteria and standards
2、 Principles of process engineering、material balance、interfacial mass transfer、reaction kinetics、reactor design
3、 Conventional processes:coagulation、flocculation、sedimentation 、filtration、disinfection
4、 Adsorption:mechanisms、thermodynamics、Activated carbon、metal oxides、multistage adsorption
5、 Ion exchange and Demineralization
6、 Other special topics:inorganics、organics、water reuse.

課程目標 |
(中)
藉由水質控制之課程講授、習題及期末專題報告與討論,讓學生學習水質控制之基礎理論及分析工具,以達各種水源水質及處理水之水質規範與標準要求下之最經濟有效之水質處理設計。課程內容包括程序工程原理、傳統水質處理程序、吸附機制與熱力學、離子交換與脫鹽,以及其他水質控制課題等。

Through lectures, homework exercises and term paper report writing and discussing, students are expected to learn the theories and analytical tools needed to determine the most cost-effective solution to a water treatment problem regardless of source quality and finished water criteria or standards. The content of the classes includes principles of process engineering, conventional processes, adsorption mechanisms and thermodynamics, ion-exchange and demineralization, and other special topics.

課程要求 |
1. 使學生具備應用基礎科學、工程數學及工程統計學知識於水質控制工程系統、單元或流程之能力。
2. 使學生具有辨識、發掘、分析及創新思考、規劃以解決水質控制工程問題的能力。
3. 使學生具有解決水質控實務問題之能力,及團隊合作、領導統御的能力。
