課程目標
Students after learning this course should know how to derive the constitutive laws for new types of piezoelectric materials and have the ability to derive the equations of motion based on the Hamilton's principle for continuous piezoelectric structures.
Stuents are taught to perform theoretical analysis of vibration and wave motion of piezoelectric structures. They would be well trained with the knowledges of suppressing the vibration and noise of structures by the means of different passive and active feedback-control techniques together with piezoelectric sensors and actuators.
Variuos applications of piezoeelctric materials to sensors and actuators are introduced and their working principles will be interpreted.
