To study various nondestructive testing techniques for material characterization and structural evaluation and to develop analytical ability to perform data evaluation and finite element simulations. |

13 Selected topics on acoustic waveguides. Selected topics on detection of concrete strength and Young’s modulus.
14 Selected topics on nondestructive evaluation of concrete and steel infrastructures. Student project presentation.
Class will meet 4 periods per week for a total of 14 weeks.
