壓電晶體波傳與聲波元件

二、 內容
此課程探討電場與彈性波在壓電晶體中之互制行為,並介紹其在通訊元件聲波濾波器之設計與應用。壓電晶體波傳在微機電工程領域應用極廣,除在通訊聲波元件極為重要外,在各種物理與生化感測領域均有極大的應用。
Contents:
1. One dimensional waves
1-d wave equations, D`Alembert`s solution, reflection and transmission at boundaries, impedance transformation by a layer
2. Crystal symmetry
Lattice and unit cell, atomic structures, crystal classes and crystal systems, useful piezoelectric crystals
3. Elasticity and piezoelectricity
Elastic field equations, basic electrical and magnetic laws and Maxwell`s equations, constitutive relations of elastic solids, Piezoelectric solids
4. Plane waves in anisotropic solids and piezoelectric crystals
Monatomic one-dimensional model, Christoffel`s equations, energy velocity and characteristic surfaces, examples of slowness surfaces, plane waves in piezoelectric crystals, reflection and refraction
5. Guided waves
Planar waveguides, power flows, Rayleigh waves, transverse horizontal waves, Lamb waves
6. Electrical excitation at a plane surface
Non-piezoelectric half space, piezoelectric half space, properties of effective permittivity
7. Analysis of inter-digital transducer
Delta function model, second order effects and methods of analysis, analysis of a general array of electrode, quasi-static analysis of transducer
8. SAW devices in communication systems
