Statistics is the science of conducting quantitative research to collect, organize, summarize, analyze and draw conclusions from data. The objective of this course is to introduce fundamental concepts of statistics. Several important topics, such as point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, will be detailed. After successfully completing this course, students will be able to address real-world research questions using elementary statistical methods.
