How bioinformatics works for gene and genomic research would be briefly introduced to the undergraduate students who have taken courses of genetics and molecular genetics/biology (or courses equivalent to). Besides the exams of mid-term and final, we will have two mini-projects for each student to practically apply the skills taught in the classes. All the exams and mini-projects will be counted in the final score along with the in-class performance of each student.
