Full factorial and fractional factorial designs are often used to study the treatment-response relationship of interest. The objective of this course is to introduce systematic methods and practical techniques for designing and analyzing factorial experiments. Several important concepts in experimental designs, such as effect confounding and effect aliasing, will be introduced. Some recent research topics will also be covered. After successfully completing this course, students should be able to design and analyze factorial experiments to address real-world research questions.
