課程概述 |
Plants, as sessile organisms, have evolved diverse defense mechanisms against insect herbivores, one of the most significant biotic stresses in agricultural systems. This course examines crop–insect interactions from molecular, physiological, ecological, and evolutionary perspectives, with an emphasis on linking fundamental mechanisms to practical applications such as host plant resistance and integrated pest management. |

課程目標 |
1 Understand the mechanisms of crop–insect interactions, from molecular and physiological responses to ecological and evolutionary processes.
2 Explain plant defense strategies and insect adaptation mechanisms in the context of herbivory.
3 Integrate knowledge of plant–insect interactions into practical agricultural management, including host plant resistance and integrated pest management. |
