Course Objectives:
To acquaint students with understanding of fundamentals of molecular biotechnology as well as the application in pollution prevention. Topics focus on current issues on environmental molecular biotechnology. Discussion of recently published scientific papers will be emphasized.
Class format: Lectures and discussion of recent research papers in the field of environmental biotechnology. Taught in English.
Prerequisite: Introduction to environmental biotechnology or biotechnology-related courses or concent by the instructor
Evaluation: Presentation and class participation 35%, Term paper 65%
