課程概述 |
全球化所產生的高度連結關係，使得全球各地方都高度的受到人、事、物流的串連。而動植物疾病的跨境傳播的速度，也伴隨著全球化而加速。本課程從科技與社會的研究取徑出發，討論跨境的動物疾病治理，包含了三大部份：第一部份從行動者網絡理論出發，從本體論上討論疾病的複雜性及多樣性。此部份將聚焦在行動者網絡理論的符號學與多元本體論；第二部份則是聚焦在所謂的生物安全(Biosecurity)及生物經濟上；最後一部份則是觸及所謂的預期行動(anticipatory actions)，從Deleuze and Guattari的感染(affect)的角度出發，此部份將討論緊急事件(Emergencies)以及預防措施及行動及如何治理「未來危機」。 |

課程目標 |
理解動植物本身、病菌、自然資源等的所謂「非人行動者」又是如何重塑、影響全球農糧生產網絡？而相關的「生物安全」政策，又是如何治理跨境的動植物疾病 |

課程要求 |
本課程為碩博士班課程，當週都有必讀文獻。每位修課同學都將被分配報告週次。其餘修課同學，請務必於上課前一天將自己一頁的心得摘要，傳給每位修課同學。這些要求會被嚴格執行。 |
