課程概述 |
近年來,全球氣候暖化、海洋、地下水資源枯竭等問題日益嚴重,農業生產環境如何回應這些地球系統的問題開始成為學術界關注的焦點。本課程基於近年來地球系統政治(Geo(Earth)-politics,或所謂的量體政治(volumetric politics)的相關研究出發,探索農業和地球系統環境的利用、衝突以及治理。包含畜牧業和空氣系統治理(air)、海洋環境資源治理、以及農業和土壤(soil)等三大部份。本課程分為三大部份。第一,在畜牧業系統和空氣治理的部份,將聚焦在畜牧業和碳權計算間的複雜關係、以及能源轉型和農業社區問題。課程第二部份將聚焦在海源資源的使用,特別是海洋的物質條件和人類資源的衝突,在海洋物質環境的部份,此部份將探索海洋的深度(Depth)、海洋的波動(wave)、島嶼(islands);而資源的使用將關注漁權和海洋劃界、貨運貿易和海洋環境衝突。第三,本課程將聚焦在土壤退化、動物等人與自然環境關係,以及討論如何修補這些因為人類農業活動,而形成的自然傷害所需的環境照護(care)。 |

課程要求 |
本課程為碩博士班課程,當週都有必讀文獻。每位修課同學都將被分配報告週次。其餘修課同學,請務必於上課前一天將自己一頁的心得摘要,傳給每位修課同學。這些要求會被嚴格執行。 |
