There are two parts in this course: Fundamental theories and empirical methods, corporate finance topics. The first part is to discuss theories and empirical methods that are used to analyze corporate issues. These basic rules include: agency theory, signaling model, game theory, security design, and event-study econometrics. The second part covers issues in corporate finance: capital structure, dividends policy, investment strategy, financial distress, initial public offerings, corporate control contests, and innovation. |
